Terms of Service

1. Service nature

Mechaniq is an information service. We publish technical signals about US-listed stocks and options. We do not give investment advice, manage portfolios, or execute trades.

2. No investment advice (AFM disclaimer)

The content on this site is for informational and educational purposes only. It is not personalised investment advice as defined by the Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM, Wet financieel toezicht). You are solely responsible for any trading decisions you make based on our signals.

3. No guarantee of returns

Past performance (backtests, track records) is no guarantee for future results. Markets can lose value rapidly. You can lose part or all of your capital.

4. No broker integration

Mechaniq does not integrate with your brokerage account. We do not connect to your broker, never place orders on your behalf, and never modify positions. Our Tastytrade connection (used for option-IV data) is strictly read-only and runs against our own account — never yours.

5. Subscription & cancellation

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually (annual plans pay upfront for twelve months at a discount equivalent to two months free). New subscriptions start with a 14-day free trial on either plan; no charge is made until the trial ends. You may cancel at any time via the billing portal; access continues until the end of the paid period. Annual plans are not pro-rated on cancellation but renewals can be turned off at any time.

6. Acceptable use

Do not scrape, redistribute, or resell our signals. Do not attempt to circumvent rate limits or authentication.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by Dutch law, our liability is limited to the amount paid by you in the past 12 months for the service.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes are submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
